idgli13-250-1Finally another sex toy review from me – this time for lovely PinkCherry.com sex toys.

Lube is regarded by many as a staple during sex, and here’s why:

1. Some women don’t get wet, or don’t get wet enough, and all women’s wetness wears off after a few hours of sex. Anuses don’t get wet at all. No lube = friction (not the good kind), soreness, and various discomfiture which one typically does not like to feel when one is having sex.

2. It feels fucking good. You don’t just use it to keep things running smoothly. You can use it on your clit, during masturbation, etc.

And why use ID glide?

Well, besides being doctor-recommended and award-winning and all that, which is pretty savvy. ID glide is water-based, which means it can be used with pretty much every kind of material. I used it while masturbating (rubbing and using the Lelo Mia) and a tiny bit lasted for a damn long time. I also used it with the njoy Pure Plug and it worked like a charm – two “pumps” of lube to lube up the plug and my ass – I probably could have made do with one “pump”.

The downside? ID glide boasts that it smells like nothing, yet the first time I used it I smelt a very strong plastic smell, although I’ve gotten used to it over time and don’t notice it anymore. The lube itself is a bit sticky. And I’m not sure what to make of the pump design – it’s convenient, but for some reason I make more of a mess using the pump than I do using typical squeezy bottles, but maybe that’s just me.

Verdict – 4/5 :)

ID Glide is our favorite lube . . . there are two bottles of it on the nightstand in our hotel room as I type this, waiting for Nimue to arrive tomorrow morning.

Lube is an absolute necessity for anal sex. And with it, sliding my cock into her tight little hole is pure joy. Without it, well . . . I wouldn’t subject her to that kind of pain.

I buy squeeze bottles from a sex store, and there is no plasticky smell. Maybe it’s the pump-spray bottle you have.

Maybe I’m just not used to using lube? Who knows…

  15. [...] ID is one of my favorite lube brands, and for good reason. Just like vodka quality is judged by "purity", so does it go with me and lubes. ID Millennium? Kind of like if you just rubbed moisturizer into your hands. [...]
