haha i would definitely need to discuss platonic touching in advance. i'm generally not a touchy person but with some people/circumstances i love platonic cuddling.

I shared a very small bed once with a close (but platonic friend) and it was terrible! I wish we had discussed in advance that it would be okay to touch (like spooning or with our backs touching) in the night because I kept waking up, trying not to touch her, only to find in the morning that she wouldn't have cared!

I'm a mix in bed - I either need to have my space all to myself or be intensely cuddled. haha
But I fully agree with you, there is nothing like post-sex snuggly snoozes; where you both fall asleep in the same positions you finished. ^_^

haha... i think i'd just own a big bed. dorm beds are sort of dinky and make for a lot of awkwardness.

I recognize the awkwardness of being just a little uncomfortable, but not wanting to disturb the other person, so you start hedging on whether the discomfort is bad enough to adjust, only it grows worse, which makes the resulting movement more dramatic...you can get very neurotic this way.

still worth it...

I've slept in a bed with another person (platonically, of course) a few times and I hated it each time. I'm not a light sleeper, but I found myself stirring every time they moved or made a noise. Irritating! Should I ever decide to have a partner, they may find themselves sleeping in another bed. lol
