Because you say "2 inches at its widest", but the medium only goes at 1.85 in at its widest, while the large one stands at 2.35 inches... The large one IS difficult to get in, but considering the second bulb is the size of the largest on the medium, and I found that without any work at all, the second bulb of the large pops in without any effort... I'm really surprised by this review. Are you sure you got the medium one and not the large?

The large one IS difficult to get in, but considering the second bulb is the size of the largest on the medium, and I found that without any work at all, the second bulb of the large pops in without any effort… I’m really surprised by this review.

I was looking for something pretty big but couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw it :-O I actually had to end up buying a couple of other intermediate toys to work my way up to it. The bulbs didn't make it any easier for me, either. I'd have found a slowly tapering toy much easier to use, particularly when it's a bigger toy than I'm used to. When I *finally* managed to insert it, it did feel a little awkward but, once I'd relaxed, it felt fantastic. It's way too big to wear & walk around normally (at least for me) but now I've managed it, I love to use mine whenever I can. I have the larger version of this.
