Hello, I'm Wilhelmina Wang and I write this blog that you know to be Heartbreak Nymphomania. I am many things; and am also in the process of finding out what I am, both sexually and otherwise, which is pretty exciting. I'm 22, a college student majoring in Creative Writing, trying to figure out where to go from there. I go to college in the US; I just moved here a couple years ago. I'm a mixed-race, queer woman (bi/pansexual to be precise). I'm too neurotic for my own good sometimes, and my brain is too deeply lodged in the gutter for my own good most of the time. I travel, I write, I question, sometimes I study, I alternately hide from and embrace the enigma that is humankind, and I wonder if I'll ever have this whole 'life' thing figured out.

A snapshot of my love/sex life: I'm currently in a happy, monogamous relationship with J. Nobody was more bewildered or pleasantly surprised than I was when it happened. Before this I was somewhat disillusioned with the whole "romance" thing, and had taken fuckbuddies/friends-with-benefits/hookups, but hadn't found anyone with whom that could develop into something more. Since last year, my sexuality has basically exploded - I moved from being the bottom in monogamous, vanilla relationships with straight men to exploring non-monogamy, finally experiencing queer sex, and realizing that I had an interest in BDSM after two of my lovers got me to top/dominate them.

This blog started out as a place for me to examine my personal/love/sex life, began to morph as I added ruminations about sexuality and erotica pieces into the mix, and now it's pretty much a toy review site. I haven't felt the need to write about sex or about my life much anymore; I actually want to start a new blog where I write articles/essays about more topics e.g. feminism, sexuality, media, culture, etc. However, I still enjoy reviewing toys, so I'll probably continue doing that here.
