I received a number of interesting responses - some complex, some celebratory, some melancholy and some thought-provoking. Definitely check them out for yourself. I'm looking forward to going through them and responding to them properly, before embarking on my own series of essays/HNTs exploring gender myself.
Note on the drawing: I painstakingly assigned each person a number for each time they entered the contest, and then used the "integer generator" on Random.org to draw the winner.

This might seem like too much of a queer-centric contest, but even if you don't play with your gender necessarily, I'm sure you still have feelings about your gender.
Lately, I've been thinking about my own gender more, and while appear mostly feminine, I often wish that I could wake up and just pick whatever gender I wanted to be that day, and be it. Soon I'm going to be doing a series of posts/HNTs exploring my own gender(fucking), and I'm really looking forward to reading about other people's takes on gender. I thought combining a shout out for feedback with a contest would be cool.

Contest: Blogiversary Blowout
Soo... there are quite a few contests going on right now, but I either didn't enter or didn't try very hard if I did enter, since I'm actually pretty content with the sex toy collection I have right now (shock horror!).
But then I got it into my head that I wanted to get the Optimist a gift for his birthday, which is coming up in November. A butt toy. I was thinking about the Lelo Bob or the njoy pure plug small, but after a quick Twitter Poll and an almost unanimous heralding of the Fun Factory Bootie as the perfect plug/beginner's plug, I wanted to get that instead.

Tomorrow marks the one-year anniversary of this here blog, so of course, I wanted to give out some presents! I was inspired by other blogiversary contests held by Scarlet Lotus St. Syr and Wilhemina Wang, which featured a bunch of prizes and thus many winners.
